Rooms at the Hilty Inn
The Hilty Inn is a historical 2 story home built in 1877 by John &
Margaret Lumpee. It is a Victorian Style with porches with
gingerbread detail on the front, on the back side of the house is a
two story screened in veranda. Entering the front door is a
beautiful walnut newel post with open staircase. There is a parlor
and dining room on either side of the entry that is common areas for
guests. The floors are mostly original wide pine. The second floor
offers four guest rooms with private baths. There is one common
sitting room upstairs, this can be made into a suite with either
queen room. The rooms have access to TVs and Wireless Internet
Service.

THE THORNLEIGH ROOM has a King size bed and is a spacious room. It gets its name from a child of the original family that was born in the house, his picture hangs in the room. The bathroom is across the hall, however private, with robes in the room. The porch that is located on the front of the house is private to this room. Click here for rates |

THE JUNE ROOM has a Queen size bed with the bathroom in the closet and vanity in the room. This is my Bridal Suite with the sitting room next to it. The name is for June Boeschen, former owner of the house. Click here for rates |

THE ALICE ROOM has a Queen size bed with an antique claw-foot
bathtub with shower over it, in its bathroom. The name comes from
the Innkeeper's Grandma Alice, with her pictures, old postage stamp
quilt and queen Ann leg dresser. This room accesses to the porch.

THE HILTY ROOM has a full size iron bed, with a corner bathroom. The Hilty is named for the Innkeeper's dad ,Carl . It is a Holstein Cow motif to remind us of his dairy. This room has its own outside door to the porch. Click here for rates |
